Each September, St. Matthew’s UMC celebrates Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month (HAM). We spend a month focused on food insecurity through worshipping, praying, learning, advocating, and acting to end hunger. We learn what the Bible has to say about the aspect of food insecurity we are exploring, we advocate to end causes of food insecurity, and we help those currently experiencing food insecurity.
