Bowie CROP Walk, Sep 20th, 12:30 pm, St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church
On Sunday, 20 September 2026, St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church (location) will be hosting a Church World Service/Bowie CROP Hunger Walk. CROP Hunger Walks help to provide food and water, as well as resources that empower people to meet their own needs. We will gather with our community to fight hunger here and worldwide. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will go to the Bowie Food Pantry.
We invite you to walk or rock and help recruit sponsors. If you are not walking or rocking, you can sponsor someone or one of the many dogs walking or volunteer to assist on CROP Walk Day. Please help us recruit walkers, rockers, sponsors and volunteers.

On Sep 20th, sign-in is from1230 pm – 1pm in fellowship hall. At 1pm, we start the 2.5-mile or 5-mile walk (your choice) and the rocking to raise awareness and money for ending hunger. Afterwards, we will meet in the fellowship hall for ice cream sundaes.
CROP Hunger Walk is a wonderful way for us to come together as a community, call attention to the needs of our hungry sisters and brothers and raise money to help.
