The Bowie Interfaith Pantry and Emergency Aid Fund, Inc.
2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD 20715
(located behind the brick building, at the back of the property)
The Pantry provides food to qualified residents of Prince George’s County as well as emergency financial assistance to qualified residents of the City of Bowie.
- Donations of non-perishable, unexpired food and personal care items may be left in the shopping cart in the coatroom (just off the Narthex). Read what items the Pantry distributes here.
- Gardeners are encouraged to bring their surplus harvest to the Pantry. Donations of fresh fruit and vegetables should be taken directly to the Pantry on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 8-11 a.m.—please do NOT leave them at the church.
- Financial donations can be made at the church or via Online Giving, noting the Bowie Food Pantry Fund.
Volunteers shop, collect donations, help sort and pack incoming food, and place the food in clients’ cars as they drive up. A large garden is maintained by volunteers and produces over $9,000 of fresh vegetables annually for clients. Volunteer opportunities are announced in the Pantry’s newsletter—click HERE to see the current issue.
