Bowie State University, Dorothy Holland Student Emergency Fund
St Matthew’s UMC provides support to Bowie State University (BSU) students with emergency needs, some of whom are homeless. SMUMC contributes to the Dorothy Holland Emergency Fund which the University manages to assist students facing financial emergencies. SMUMC also provides items such as coats, clothing, small refrigerators, cleaning kits, linens, personal hygiene supplies, and other supplies for students.
