Join St. Matthew’s UMC at the Annapolis Pride Parade and Festival || Saturday, June 1st

St. Matthew’s it’s Time to Show Your Pride!

This Saturday join us in Annapolis to Walk or Ride in the Pride Parade or come see us at our Booth in the Festival.

There are new locations for both the Parade and the Festival

so be sure to read through for the details.

The Parade starts at 12:00 at the City Dock, goes up

Main Street and Down West Street to Amos Garrett Blvd

finishing right at the Festival Grounds located at Maryland Hall Parking Lots A, B, and The Bates Field.

This is different from last year!

Our Festival Booth will be located in Lot A at Maryland Hall.

See the Map Below. The Festival runs from 12:00 – 5:00 pm.

Our Parade Participation line-up time is 11:00.

If you are interested in walking or riding in the parade please meet at the Parade Check-in Booth near the corners of Compromise and Main Streets at 11:00.  See map below.

You must sign a waiver to participate.  Find Karen Hastings at the check-in booth. Jay Megonigal will bring his Truck so that some may ride in the parade. St. Matthew’s is number 68 in the parade.

You will need that number to find our group.

If you have already signed the waiver because you have volunteered to help, Karen will be sending you a more detailed plan for the day.

We can still use more help to Clean up the Booth at 5:00, so if you want to attend later in the day, please consider swinging by Lot A at Maryland Hall to help with that.

Please show your PRIDE by wearing your Love is Love Shirts.  “Until you go to an event like this, you can’t imagine a more Joyful and Happy Day!”  That was a quote from one of our church members last year.

Please COME!
