Lenten Brunch, Saturday, March 21, 9:30 a.m., Fellowship Hall. – ALL are invited (men and women of St. Matthew’s) to a morning of fellowship and Lenten reflection sponsored by the UMW and UMM. Our special guest speaker will be the “other” Rev. Mejia, Daniel’s wife Michelle. Babysitting will be provided.
“Let’s Go to the Hop” on Saturday! Join in on the evening of fun at St. Matthew’s Sock Hop THISSaturday, March 21 from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the school gym (aka Fellowship Hall). Tickets from the original date will be honored and additional tickets will be sold after services today. The cost is $15 and includes a live band and refreshments.
Hospitality Training, Sunday, March 22, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Pastor Daniel will be facilitating a Hospitality Training for all Greeters, Ushers and Liturgists on Sunday, March 22, 2015. A pizza lunch will be provided. If you are a regular greeter, usher, or reader – or you’d like to be a regular! – please plan to join us.

Join us on Sunday, March 29 (Palm Sunday) after the 11:00 service in Fellowship Hall for some “Bunny Snacks” and Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own basket. We will look for eggs outside, weather permitting. (Inside if raining) There will be a separate area for children under two, so everyone will be sure to find Easter eggs. Everyone is welcome! St. Matthew’s Musical Theatre Troupe is ready to entertain you again. They will be presenting “A Little Night Music”. Shows will be performed on April 17, 18, 19, 24 and 26 in Fellowship Hall. Tickets will be on sale starting NEXT week after each service. Prices are $8 ahead of time and $10 at the door.
Warmer Weather Perfect for a “Garden Getaway” – The annual Women’s Retreat will take place at West River Center on Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Registration begins NEXT Sunday after services. Cost is $40 and includes all retreat materials, a continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Carpools will be formed to leave from the church. Don’t miss this day of fellowship and fun by the water!
