As you may be aware, we have been partnering with Bowie High School this past year. We have supported the staff by sending several notes throughout the year and providing snacks for a staff meeting. We have begun a conversation with one of the ESOL teachers and now have an opportunity to support some of the most vulnerable students. We would like to collect needed items by June 15 so that the ESOL teacher will be able to give them to her students before school ends. The list of items is on the St. Matthew’s bulletin board in the main hallway. Thank you for your support in all we have done in partnership with Bowie High School this year!
Summer Teaching Opportunity – Adults and teens are invited to help team teach summer Sunday school for one or more Sundays this summer. Youth may be teen helpers with an adult or adults can lead teach with teen or adult helpers. Curriculum packets with easy to follow lesson plans for each week will be provided. Sign up on the Christian Formation bulletin board in the main hallway or contact Rev. Kathy firstname.lastname@example.org.
