The following Lenten Resources are available to you on the table in the narthex: Lenten Devotional book, calendar and devotional egg. The calendars are available in both English and Spanish. Grow your faith during Lent as an individual or family.
For the next four weeks children will be asked to make a difference by helping “Fill The Ark” to provide animals for food and change lives of children and their families worldwide. Get your coin box and calendar from the table in the narthex. Bring your filled boxes to worship on March 8.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper tickets will be on sale today after both services. Join us THISTuesday, February 17 for Clyde Draughn-made pancakes, sausage, community and fellowship as we prepare for Lent. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for ages 12 and under. All proceeds help send our youth on their summer mission trips!
Last Chance to Get Tickets for the Sock Hop (and a way to help others)! – The Sock Hop THISSaturday, February 21, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m., will be an evening of fun listening and dancing to a live band whose members include one of our own! Bring with you some “bobby sox” or any new pair(s) of socks which will be given to the homeless. Tickets ($15 each) are on sale after each service in Fellowship Hall.

TODAY is St. Matthew’s collection for the Bowie Food Pantry. They continue to experience shortages of cereal. Also needed at this time are canned fruit, soups and condiments. Thank you for your support.
Join us for the Open House of the Bowie Interfatih Food Pantry on Saturday, February 28, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Tour the facility, ask questions and meet the director and some of the dedicated volunteers. Light refreshments will be served. The Pantry is now located at 2614 Kenhill Drive (behindthe red brick building). Please park in back of the Kenhill Center nearest the Pantry.
Lower Your Cholesterol and Keep Your Heart Healthy – On Saturday, March 7 at 9:30 a.m., Dr.Amanda Schartel from the University of Maryland Baltimore will discuss how to lower your cholesterol through diet, exercise and medication. This book discussion is not geared just to leaders of the church, but to all who love and want to see St. Matthew’s grow in its work and impact in the Bowie community and around the world.
