CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS Potluck is TODAY! Come to Fellowship Hall following the 11:00 a.m. service to celebrate the hard work of the children’s Christmas program and join together as a church family to celebrate the Christmas season. Bring a dish to share. Drinks and ham will be provided!
YOUTH GROUP Caroling and Christmas Party (4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) – Meet at the church at 4:00 p.m. to go caroling and then a white elephant gift exchange to follow. Children, families and adults are welcome to join us for caroling from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m! Let us lift up our voices and bring some joy to many members of the congregation on our caroling tour. All are welcome.
CHOIRMASTER’S OPEN HOUSE – Sunday, December 18, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Isaac and Jeff, with the permission of the three greyhounds, invite you to their home for a bit of food and fellowship. BOY SCOUT TROOP 1249 Annual Christmas Carol Service, THIS Tuesday, December 13, 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Join with family and friends in singing traditional carols and hear the Christmas story read by the Boy Scouts. This is a great way to break from your hectic schedule and spend a few minutes reflecting on the true meaning of the season.
GIVING ENVELOPES for 2017 will be available for pickup in the Parlor TODAY through Sunday, December 18, then available in the church office untilDecember 31. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like to receive a box, please stop by the table.
A FINANCIAL REMINDER: As you make your year-end contributions, please remember that checks must be received at the church by December 29, 2016. If received after that date, they will be credited in 2017 (regardless of the date on them).
THE CHURCH OFFICE will be open for limited periods of time the week of December 26 – January 2. Please call ahead to make sure that someone will be in the office. The church office will be closed on the following dates: December 23, December 26, and January 2. Normal Office Hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Wednesday, December 21, 2016
7:00 p.m. – Blue Christmas Worship Service in Sanctuary
Saturday, December 24, 2016 – Christmas Eve
6:30 p.m. – Family Service which will include children presenting characters of the nativity as the story is told and carols are sung.
8:00 p.m. – Prelude provided by the Gloria Ringers.
8:30 p.m. – Traditional Candlelight service with Communion.
11:00 p.m. – Simpler more intimate service, including Communion, carols, special music and lots of candlelight.
Sunday, December 25, 2016 – Christmas Day
10:00 a.m. – One service – No Sunday School Classes
Saturday, December 31, 2016 – New Year’s Eve
Watch Night Service – The Sanctuary will be open from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. with music, scripture, hymns and prayers folded into a simple, reflective service. Holy Communion will be offered at the altar approximately every 15 minutes. Feel free to drop in for 15 minutes or stay for the whole hour.
Sunday, January 1, 2017 – New Year’s Day
10:00 a.m. – One Service – No Sunday School Classes
