Adult Sunday School is alive and well this summer! Today’s FaithLink class focuses on the topic of “Grace,” a key emphasis in the United Methodist tradition. What is grace and how can it make a difference in our relationship with God and with others? Next week’s topic will be the “Tragedy in Dallas”that occurred several weeks ago. All are welcome to attend.

If you are a student, teacher, administrator, or just someone who uses a backpack on a regular basis; bring it to worship on August 21st at the 10:00 a.m. service. Following the service we will have a back to school ice-cream party in Fellowship Hall. All are invited to come and enjoy ice-cream, celebrate the start of school and learn about the Sunday School offerings (for children and adults) for the fall.
Bowie Food Pantry in desperate need of cereal and NEEDS our help. With 90+ clients each week, they are giving out over 100 boxes of cereal. They are currently down to about 40 boxes. Please help by contributing several boxes of cereal – all kinds are needed and appreciated. As a reminder, all types of non-perishable foods are needed during these summer months when donations tend to be low. You may place your items in the shopping cart located in the coat room. Thank you for your continual support.
