Our Early Education Center (EEC) began operation of a Nursery School and Kindergarten in September 1965, as an outreach ministry of the church to young children and their families in the Bowie area. Today, in addition to the Nursery School and Kindergarten, an extended-day program is offered for children ages 2 through 5.

St. Matthew's Child Care Program, under the leadership of Director Leah Tipton, is approved and licensed by the Maryland Department of Human Resources and is a year-round program. The Nursery School and Kindergarten are approved by the Maryland State Board of Education.

We offer a variety of classes, both mornings and afternoons, and all-day child care.
