CROP Walk 2011 will be held on Sunday, October 2nd.
Did you know that CROP means “Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty”? Our emphasis this year will be on “Community”. CROP Walk 2010 resulted in 125 walkers from 9 places of worship raising over $12,000! Our goal this year is 150 walkers from 15 places of worship to raise $15,000. In order to reach this ambitious goal, we will need to get the community involved. Please start thinking about your friends and neighbors who share your enthusiasm for assisting those in need and invite them to walk with you this year. We are also looking for people from other churches and temples to sign up walkers from their congregations. Please contact Lori Robertson if you would like to help with this year’s CROP Walk or if you know of someone who would like to get involved from another church or temple.
