The film tells about landowners who were paid hefty sums of money (tax dollars?) to lease their land to be drilled for natural gas. Nondisclosure agreements were signed to exempt the company from any deleterious outcomes There were many! Many health problems were experienced, water coming from spigots was undrinkable, unusable,and sometimes could catch fire.The millions of tons of water used to pressurise the shale was mixed with an unbelievable number of toxic chemicals, causing pollution of ground water, ,local streams & rivers and soil.
F.D.A. was already rendered useless regarding anything relating to regulating fuels.We know that so much is happening to hurt the atmosphere, the land, rivers & streams, wildlife, and now GOD’s people.HIS whole creation is being attacked.
If you cannot attend the films and wish to exert your Stewardship , write your legislators, Include your name & address minus state. Refer to bills HB852 and SB634. Maybe parts of Maryland can be saved from this tragedy.
